Argenta Community Theater

Purpose

The Argenta Community Theater (ACT) is a non profit organization committed to serving the community through education and advancement of the performing arts. Our facility offers a unique versatility unlike any other in central Arkansas.

Program Components:

ACT Productions:  ACT will endeavor to produce and present up to 2-4 local productions per year ranging from narrative dramas to musical theater. These presentations will be performed for the community and depending on the actual production, for younger to older students. ACT will endeavor to work with schools to bring students to the theater at no charge.

ACT Children’s Theater Summer Camp:  ACT will hold a Children’s Theater Summer School/Camp BEGINNING IN 2012. The intent is to teach but to also provide a summer activity for children that will enhance their summer experience. We intend to give scholarships to many of the students who would not ordinarily be able to have access to such a performing arts program.

ACT Community Facility Access:  The ACT 200 seat Black Box Theater will be accessible to the community for a modest fee. No such facility exists in our community that is accessible for a nominal fee. The facility can be easily converted to an events facility for other educational and community programs, seminars, weddings, charitable events, and political gatherings.

Argenta Community Theater is available for rental seven days a week. Rental is subject to ACT discretion and facility availability. Please call us to schedule a tour and discuss how ACT can help make your event a success

Facility rental rate structure is as follows:

    All-in Rentals:

    Includes facility space, cleaning fee, set-up and take-down, 1 microphone/PA system, up to 20 round tables and 5 long tables, and 200 padded banquet chairs

    Friday - Saturday - Sunday Rates (per day):

    For-Profit Fee: $1450
    Non-Profit Fee: $1300

    Monday - Thursday Rates (per day):
    Before 2 pm Fee: $750 (both for and non-profit)

    After 4 pm Fee: $750 (both for and non-profit)

    Bar Set-Ups :

    Includes plastic cups, ice, mixers and garnish

    Flat fee:  up to 100 guests - $300 / 100 to 200 guests - $400 / 200-300 guests - $500

    Multi-Day Rentals:

    Rentals lasting three (3) or more days receive a 20 percent discount on the total.

    Multi-Day Rehearsals:

    With on-stage set: Full day’s fee each day
    Without on-stage set: $50 per hour

    Payment Policies:

    All rentals: 50 percent deposit due on receipt of application; 48-hour deadline
    Full payment of facility rental due 30 days or 2 weeks before event, dependent on scheduling date
    Payment of variables due 2 weeks after event

    Cancellation Policies:
    If cancelling more than 30 days or 2 weeks before event, dependent on scheduling date – full payment is refundable minus the deposit
